Jumped into limp mode at 60 mph!
Ok was driving my 97 Breeze last night when it jumped into limp mode while driving home. My check engine light has been on since I changed the headgasket... I checked the code & I have a code 66 which is for the TCM. Anyone know what might have gone wrong?

Started up the car this morning after gettting it home last night & now it runs & shift just fine like nothing ever happened?

TCM's fry themselves all too often. Probably the module itself.

Well I checked & cleaned up all the grounds & connections under the hood, then I left the battery unhooked overnight. Then the next morning it's been driving great ever since. I think I'll go get another tcm just to have on hand, plus it wouldn't hurt to change the fluid & filter since I don't know when it was done last...

Great idea, doing that stuff first! Yep, and you can't change the fluid and filter in these Chrysler FWD transaxles too often...
